• Question: The big bang........................ im confused if there is nothing then how did the big bang happen??? This is my theory if there was nothing there has to be something tell me a different theory.

      The big bang theory suggests that everything was condensed in to a tiny, tiny, incredibly dense thing called a “singularity” which then exploded to form the universe. We think this because we know the universe is currently still expanding!

      It is a very difficult concept because we understand things as relative to each other.. in space and in time, but before the big bang there was only the singularity so there was nothing to relate anything to because there was only one thing and one moment! So time didn’t exist before the big bang and in that way there can’t have been anything before it.. nothing that existed in time anyway so there is no such thing as before the big bang! Crazy.
