• Question: why do we dream or imagine?

      A fantastic question, and one that has interested people for hundreds of years. Unfortunately we still don’t really know the answers. ON suggestion is that it helps our brains “file”away memories from the day, which is why you can often pick out parts of a dream from something that happened, or you saw or heard that day. I don’t think we still really know though.

      dreaming is still really one of the unknown areas of science. But I think imagining helps us make good decisions. We can test what might happen if something happens by imagining it and then see what we want to do. If we cross the road will the car hit us? If we talk to a pretty girl will she ignore us? Its like a flight simulator,say, but for our lives.
