• Question: @all scientists-When a shock of electricity hits and we are holding rubber why do we not get electrocuted?

Electricity can only flow where it has a complete circuit to flow through. So when you stand on a rubber mat or something the circuit between the energy source and the ground is broken by the insulating rubber. The electricity cannot flow through a broken circuit, so it won’t flow through you to the ground and cause a shock.
