  Its normally rude to have snot on your face or wee yourself in public but when you dive a lot it becomes normal to see snot on people’s faces because your mask sort of sucks it out of you and when you need a wee you just go when you’re in the sea! I think that’s quite weird! Other weird things we have done is to wrap fish in stockings in order to measure their hearing with electrodes that had nail varnish on to control their conductivity, and put speakers in condoms so that we can take them underwater!!
