Black holes have such a strong gravitational pull that not even light can escape when it gets close enough. If anything were to fall into a black hole, it would be instantly crushed and compressed down to an infinitely small size. However, there are some theories out there that say that all the matter and light that falls into black holes ends up coming out in another universe in what’s called a ‘white hole’. Unfortunately, there is no evidence in our own universe to support this theory (no-one has even seen a white hole in our universe) so I wouldn’t suggest trying to find out for yourself.
