• Question: Can you bleed in space?

      you definitely can, if you cut yourself or something. As there’s no gravity, the squirting would be cool though, and the blood would probably just float off as drops. Might make a horrible mess of your spaceship.

      Someone else asked if you can cry in space and I imagine bleeding would be quite similar. The blood wouldn’t fall down and drip to the floor, but probably stick around the cut, or if there was a lot of it, it would form a giant blob and float off! Probably not something you want floating around!! 🙂

      If you were in a spaceship then the blood would come out in droplets that would float around and make an awful mess. If you were in space and unfortunate enough not to be inside a spaceship or a spacesuit the blood would boil away immediately. At that point you wouldn’t be very bothered about it as you’d probably not survive much longer than a couple of minutes at most.
