• Question: Can you ever prove/disprove that ghosts are real?

      You could prove ghosts are real if you could find some kind of evidence that they are – pictures combined with measurements of some kind of electric field or something might be good indicators, as long as you could prove they weren’t fake.

      You can’t really disprove the existence of something, the lack of evidence is normally enough to say, as far as we know, this thing doesn’t exist.

      My mum has experienced ghosts because she says she is ‘psychic’. So for her their existence is proven. But I haven’t experienced them, so for me there is no proof yet. I think people that can perceive ghosts and spirits have a different kind of perception to other people that can’t see them, so its kind of hard to prove to a colourblind person what a colour they can’t see is like. Either they have something like an extra sense, or it could be that their brain invents things. Either way, if people believe it, its real for them.
