Zombies are purely fictional creatures. There is no biological evidence to support the idea that a dead creature could come back to life. What would keep them alive if the whole body had shut down? A living creature is an incredibly complicated being kept alive by a huge number of systems (like the circulatory, respiratory and digestive systems) working together in harmony. You know how easy it is for something small, like a virus, to make things stop working properly and make you feel ill. All these systems shut down when an animal dies and the body stops working could make it come back to life.

Ghosts have never scientifically been proven to exist or not. I personally do not believe in ghosts but I have never had an encounter with one as some people claim to have done. Many stories of ghosts can be explained away – in quite a few cases the people who see ghosts have been under a lot of psychological stress, usually grieving over the loss of a loved one, and seeing ghosts could just be their mind playing tricks on them (the brain is actually very good at producing hallucinations under stress).

It is generally accepted that there are around 8.7 billion species on Earth, but we have only discovered and names one quarter of them! That means there are still over 6.5 billion species out there that no-one has named. We may have seen some of them, but they have never been captured, catalogued and named by scientists. They most certainly exist 🙂
