Hi guys!! I definitely love science.. its so useful it helps you understand everyday life and there are so many crazy facts about our planet. To be a pharmacist I think biology, chemistry and maths would be the most useful. For NASA I think physics, maths and maybe geography. But its worth trying hard at everything because you never know you might find you are good at or enjoy things you wouldn’t expect, and they become useful to you later on even if no one would have thought it.. like I ended up doing a dance GCSE and AS level which has helped me loads in my fieldwork because it helps my coordination, balance, strength etc while swimming and working on a moving boat! I think you may as well spend your time doing things you enjoy and then you’ll find ways to incorporate those into your life because work breeds work! As to believing in aliens, I think they probably exist, but haven’t seen any proof yet! xx

      Hello 🙂

I did work experience for a pharmacy when I was at school and my little brother works as a pharmacist assistant. It’s a really cool job and you get to help a lot of people! Biology and Chemistry are definitely a must, but what might also be useful, to show that you are really interested in medicine and health, is to get some experience in those areas. Why not take a first aid course? Or volunteer with your local St Johns Ambulance service when you are old enough – this will show universities that you are really passionate!

I also wanted to work for NASA when I was younger! You’d be amazed how many things they do. I actually work a lot with them now, even though I study the oceans. So it depends what sort of work you’d like to do with NASA – if you’d like to go to space, physics and maths is probably your best choice, if you’d like to build rockets and things – maybe chemistry, maths, physics and a practical technology like IT or some sort of construction? If you want to learn about the world like I do with satellites, any of the sciences and geography will be really useful for you.

Revise hard and ask lots of questions and I’m sure you’ll achieve your dream jobs! Good luck!

And yes, I REALLY love science 🙂
