• Question: How long can our bodies go during excersice without water and a rest?

      Some people can exercise for a very long time without resting – there is a race in South Africa where people run for 12 hours constantly, but they do have water. There are actually even longer races than that, but people do have water and food on those too. If you are well hydrated before a race, you can probably run for quite a while if its not too hot without a drink i.e. you could do a marathon quite easily. But its better to drink a little bit and rest if you need to! I’m running my first half marathon in 2 weeks time, so I’ll let you know how far I get without needing water 😉
