• Question: How long would it take for a new language to evolve?

      Language is constantly changing and new words invented, so dictionaries are constantly updated. To be a new language all it would take is for people in one area to use enough words that people in other parts didn’t. These days, because it is so easy to talk to people far away it is unlikely that a new language could be made easily.
