• Question: If you had cancer recently is it likely for you to have it again?

      You’re usually more likely to have it again yes. But if you’ve already had it you’re also more likely to be checking for it reoccurring so you can treat it quickly!

      Sadly the answer is yes. All too often the treatments are great at getting rid of most of the cancer and get better, but a few cancer cells survive and become resistant to the treatment. Eventually these can grow back and you get cancer again. Although as Hayley said, if you’ve had cancer you will have regular check ups to keep an eye out for it coming back to you can catch it early if it does.
