• Question: Is it possible to get the DNA of a dinosaur and clone it?

      Unfortunately not it seems. DNA doesn’t preserve beyond about a million years (according to current science), so finding DNA from 65 millions years ago is very unlikely. Even if so, finding all the DNA needed (a whole genome) would be difficult and then you’d need a host animal which was compatible. It’s a shame, as I’d really like a pet velociraptor!!
