• Question: is it true that when you become older you grow shorter?

      It is – your spine compresses over time as you loose the spongey bits in between the vertebrae (back bones).

      Gravity is constantly pulling us down so its no surprise that after a while it squashes us. Your ears will also be a bit longer!

      It’s also why if you go into space, where there is no gravity, you actually get a little bit taller, as everything expands a little. It all goes back eventually though after a while.
