I’ve spent the last 6 years of my life working as a researcher for Cancer Research UK. In fairness they pay me, rather than me raise money for them, but I’m still contributing a lot of effort!

I cycled and walked 100 miles along the Great Wall of China through the desert part on the border of Inner Mongolia to raise money for the elephant and orangutan conservation projects I worked for (EHRA in Namibia and OHP in Sumatra) when I was 19 just after I left school.

I’m running my first half marathon next week. I’m quite scared because I’ve never been a very good runner – I started training a year ago but its been really hard. I’m hoping to raise some money for rape crisis SA.
