Question: why does your hair look like its dry under water??

I think this is probably because your hair is kind of floating in the water, which makes it look more soft and flowy like it does when its dry. However when you get out of the water you hair is no longer floating, and the water clinging to it makes it heavy, so it gets dragged down and you look all bedraggled and wet!
