I’m absolutely sure there will be! With private companies like Richard Bransons Virgin Galactic coming in to business, I think we will see many advances in technlogy that will make space travel cheaper and possibly mean we can travel further. If you think about it, it’s still been less than 50 years since we put a man on the moon and we’ve made huge advances in rocket technology in this time. I guess the one problem is, do we need to travel in space? I think a manned mission to Mars is probably likely, but for further travel we’re going to need some really cool new technology! NASA are working on ideas for a warp drive, so we could travel a lot faster, but I think that might be a little way off yet! http://boingboing.net/2012/12/05/whats-up-with-nasas-warp-d.html

For sure.. but I’m hoping there’ll be advances in ocean travel as we know less about our oceans that we do about space! There are so many crazy creatures that live in the ocean and maybe medicines we could learn about too.
